Loch Coruisk

Loch Coruisk is a freshwater loch nestled in a corrie of the Black Cuillin on the Isle of Skye, known for its dramatic mountain enclosure. It sits inland from the southern coast of Skye and is a focal point for visits into the Cuillin massif.

The site offers stark, alpine-style scenery with steep crags rising from the water and is commonly visited by hikers and by boat from coastal slipways. The setting is remote and wild in character, with few built features immediately adjacent to the water.
