How to Get to Lixa
Lixa is a town in the Porto District best reached via Porto Airport (OPO) with onward train or bus to nearby stations, followed by a local bus or taxi. There is no direct national rail service into the town, so transfers are required.
Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO): Porto airport (OPO) is the main international gateway for the Porto District. From OPO you can continue by train or bus toward Felgueiras/Paços de Ferreira areas and then local transport to Lixa - total travel time to Lixa by public transport is usually 45-90 minutes depending on connections.
Vila Real / other regional airports: There are smaller regional airports but for international arrivals OPO is the practical choice for Lixa.
