The Limbe Botanic Garden is a historic botanical garden in the town of Limbe in Cameroon’s Southwest Region, located on the coastal slope of Mount Cameroon.
The garden maintains collections of tropical and introduced plants, walking paths and demonstration areas used for education, research and public visits. It is noted for plantings suited to the Mount Cameroon environment.
The site was established in 1892 and has continued to function as a botanical and educational institution since the colonial period.
The garden sits in Limbe on Cameroon’s southwest coast at the foot of Mount Cameroon.

How to Get to Limbe Botanical Gardens #
Limbe is on Cameroon’s southwest coast near the city of Limbe (formerly Victoria), about 30 km south of the regional hub of Buea. From Douala (about 80 km), drive southwest on the N3 and N14; intercity buses stop at Limbe and local taxis serve the garden entrance.
