Lihou Island is a small tidal island off the west coast of Guernsey in the Channel Islands. It is notable for its exposed position at low tide and its coastal habitats.

The island offers coastal walking, saltmarsh and rock-pool habitats and is a spot for seabirds and coastal plants; access is only possible around low tide by a short causeway or beach crossing. Lihou has been managed for conservation in recent decades and is not intensively developed, with visitor access and activities organised to protect wildlife and archaeological remains.

Geographically it lies just off Guernsey’s western shore and is approached from the west coast of the main island; crossings must be timed to the local tide charts.
