Liesjärven Kansallispuisto

Liesjärven Kansallispuisto (Liesjärvi National Park) is a protected area in the Kanta-Häme region of southern Finland known for lakes, old pine forests and rocky ridges. It conserves characteristic Finnish lake-and-forest scenery and cultural heritage sites.

Hiking trails and lakeside paths link campfire sites and small shelters, and the park is used for day hikes, canoeing and seasonal nature observation. A restored croft site within the park provides a museum-like insight into traditional rural life.

The area has been managed for forestry and small-scale agriculture for centuries, and it was later protected to preserve both natural features and cultural landscapes represented by the croft buildings.

Located in the Kanta-Häme region, the park lies within reach of local towns in southern Finland and forms part of a network of protected sites in the region.
