Visit Les Halles outside weekday rush hours - early mornings on weekdays or late evenings - to avoid the heavy commuter flows through the Châtelet-Les Halles transit hub.
Enter the shopping and garden complex via rue Berger/Forum des Halles or from the public garden (Jardin Nelson Mandela) behind the Forum for quicker access to quieter areas and to bypass some of the busiest metro exits.
