Lausche (Czech: Luž) is the highest peak of the Lusatian Mountains at about 793 metres and lies on the Czech-German border in the Zittau area. It is the range’s principal summit and a local landmark for cross-border hiking.

Marked trails climb to the wooded summit where open sections provide panoramic views over the surrounding ridges and the Bohemian Basin to the south. Routes approach from both the German and Czech sides, making it a common day-hike destination in the region.
