Låtefossen is visible from and accessible beside Norwegian National Road 13 between Odda and the Folgefonna area. The nearest town is Odda; from there it’s a short drive north along RV13 (about 15 minutes). There is roadside parking at the viewing area.

- Park on the eastern side of the old road (RV13) to get the classic view-and have a camera ready; the falls' twin torrents separate visibly at the road bridge.
