Lampi Island Marine National Park is a protected marine area in Myanmar’s Tanintharyi Region that includes Lampi Island and surrounding reefs in the Mergui Archipelago. It conserves island, mangrove and coral-reef habitats in the Andaman Sea.
The park is noted for its offshore islands, clear waters and reef systems used for snorkeling and diving, and it encompasses both terrestrial and marine ecosystems. The area is remote and visited mainly by boat-based excursions and dive trips.
The reserve was designated to conserve the ecological values of the Mergui Archipelago, including mangrove forests and coral reef communities, and to regulate activities such as fishing and tourism in the zone. Management is under national and regional authorities.
