Lake Yessey is a freshwater lake in northern Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia, located above the Arctic Circle near latitude 68.47°N. It lies within a remote, sparsely populated part of Siberia.
The lake is little visited by mainstream tourists and is primarily of interest for regional ecology and local subsistence fishing. At this latitude it experiences a long freeze season and a short thawed summer period when wildlife activity is highest.
Lake Yessey is a natural lake in the Arctic portion of Krasnoyarsk Krai; it has not been the focus of major urban development. Local indigenous communities and seasonal hunters have used the surrounding landscape for centuries.
