Lake Rożnów (Jezioro Rożnowskie) is a reservoir on the Dunajec River in Lesser Poland Voivodeship, southern Poland. It was created by the construction of the Rożnów Dam in the late 1930s and early 1940s.
The reservoir provides a long stretch of navigable water and several developed shorelines used for boating, angling and local recreation. The dam and its crest are a primary viewpoint along the lake.
The dam and reservoir were built as a combined flood-control and hydroelectric scheme; construction began in the 1930s and works were completed around the start of World War II. The project altered the course and regime of the Dunajec River to regulate flows downstream.
The lake sits on the Dunajec River in southern Poland, in the Rożnów area of Lesser Poland Voivodeship. It is associated with the towns and villages along the Dunajec valley and is within driving distance of the city of Tarnów.
