By car it is reachable from Moscow in roughly two hours (about 130-150 km) via the Yaroslavl direction highways and regional roads; follow signs for Pereslavl-Zalessky and then local roads to the lake, where parking and beaches are signposted.
Public transport: regular intercity buses and minibuses run from Moscow to Pereslavl-Zalessky. From Pereslavl town centre the main lakeshore spots are a short taxi ride or a 10-30 minute walk depending on which beach or museum you are heading to.
