Longer-distance access: KTEL intercity buses connect Thessaloniki with Kastoria (several services daily). By car from Thessaloniki it is roughly a 240 km drive (about 2.5-3 hours) generally following the Egnatia Odos (A2) and regional roads into Kastoria.
