Lake Mai-Ndombe

Lake Mai-Ndombe is a large freshwater lake located in the Mai-Ndombe region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo within the central Congo Basin. It is a shallow, seasonally fluctuating lake that forms part of a wider network of wetlands and channels feeding into the Congo River system.
