Lake Kuremaa is a freshwater lake in Jõgeva County in eastern Estonia. It lies near the village of Kuremaa and is part of the region’s network of post-glacial lakes.
The shoreline and surrounding area are used for local recreation including walking and seasonal bathing. There are paths and small developed access points rather than large-scale facilities.
The lake occupies a basin left by glacial activity that shaped much of Estonia’s landscape after the last Ice Age. Over time the shoreline and nearby land have been used for small-scale leisure and village activities.
Lake Kuremaa sits in central-eastern Estonia roughly within the administrative area of Jõgeva County, close to minor local roads and villages rather than a major city.
