How to Get to Lake Kubenskoye

Lake Kubenskoye is in Vologda Oblast north of the city of Vologda. The lake is reached by regional roads from Vologda - the drive from Vologda city to parts of the lake is on the order of a few dozen kilometres (roughly 40-60 km depending on which shore you aim for) along oblast/regional routes. Local villages and small roads provide the final access; where available the nearest town or village will have unpaved or minor paved roads down to the lakeside.
