Lake Hibara
Lake Hibara is a freshwater lake in the Urabandai area of Fukushima Prefecture, Japan, formed during the July 1888 eruption of Mount Bandai. It is one of several lakes that resulted when the eruption and associated landslides blocked river valleys.
The lake is part of the Urabandai landscape and is visited for boating, shoreline walks, and seasonal scenery. Local access is provided from roads serving the Bandai-Asahi National Park region.
