Lake Eupen is a reservoir in Wallonia, Belgium, formed by damming the Vesdre River to provide water supply and flood control for the surrounding region. The dam and lake sit close to the town of Eupen in the high-Vesdre valley.
Visitors use the area for walking, picnics and viewing the dam structure; the reservoir is not a large recreational lake for swimming but has walking paths and viewpoints popular with locals. The water body also plays a role in regional water management.
The dam creating the reservoir dates to the 20th century, when regional infrastructure works established Eupen as a managed water supply site. The lake has since been integrated into local leisure and conservation activities.
