Lahneck Castle is a medieval hill castle overlooking the Rhine near the town of Lahnstein in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It dates from the 13th century and dominates the steep slopes at the mouth of the Lahn river.

The site offers panoramic views across the Rhine and the opposite riverbank; the castle remains a visible landmark on the Rhine Gorge corridor. Visitors typically view the exterior and access the grounds by short local roads from Lahnstein.

Constructed in the medieval period as a defensive stronghold, the castle formed part of the network of fortifications that controlled river traffic and local territory. It has undergone periods of damage and repair over centuries and was retained as a castle ruin and later conserved.

The castle sits above the town of Lahnstein, on the east bank of the Rhine a few kilometres south of Koblenz, within the valley historically known as the Rhine Gorge.

Car access follows the B42 along the Rhine.
