The Lago-Naki plateau is a high-elevation plateau in the Western Caucasus within the Republic of Adygea, characterized by wide alpine meadows, karst landforms and summer pastures. It is known for open, mostly treeless uplands that contrast with the surrounding mountain ridges.
The area is used for hiking, horseback riding and seasonal grazing, with a network of trails and mountain shelters used by outdoor visitors. In winter portions of the plateau are used for skiing and snow activities where conditions permit.
The plateau is a natural geomorphological feature formed by tectonic and erosional processes of the Caucasus; human use has traditionally been pastoral and recreational rather than urban.
Geographically it lies on the northern slopes of the Main Caucasus Ridge inside Adygea, occupying upland terrain above adjacent river valleys and providing panoramic access into the surrounding mountains.
