Läckö Castle (Läckö Slott) is a lakeside castle on Kållandsö island in Lake Vänern, Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It originated as a fortified estate and was extensively remodelled into a Baroque palace in the 17th century.
The site presents preserved medieval and Baroque architecture, state rooms, a chapel and formal gardens, together with seasonal exhibitions and concerts. Guided tours cover the castle interiors and the grounds during the main tourist season.
A fortified house was established on the site in 1298 and the castle underwent major remodelling in the mid-17th century under Magnus Gabriel De la Gardie, giving the complex its notable Baroque character. Subsequent restorations have conserved both medieval and 17th-century elements.
