How to Get to Laç
Laç is reached principally by road from Tirana or Durrës; Tirana International (TIA) is the nearest major airport. The town relies on frequent minibuses and regional bus services rather than rail.
Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza (TIA): Tirana airport is the main international gateway for Laç (about 60-80 km by road). From Tirana, minibuses (furgons) and regional buses depart toward Laç from the main bus terminals and from Rruga e Kavajës; travel time is usually about 1-1.5 hours and fares are low (a few hundred ALL).
Rinas / local regional flights: There are no closer international airports with frequent scheduled services; arrivals from southern Albania often use Tirana or coastal ports followed by road transport to Laç.
Train: Albania’s passenger rail network is limited and does not provide regular service to Laç. Rail is not a practical option for most travellers to Laç.
Bus / Minibus (furgon): Shared minibuses (furgons) and regional buses run regularly between Tirana, Durrës, Lezhë and Laç from the respective bus terminals. These are the most common, frequent and inexpensive way to reach Laç (fares typically a few hundred Albanian lek; journey time around 45-90 minutes depending on origin and stops).
