How to Get to La Julia
La Julia is a residential neighbourhood in Santo Domingo's Distrito Nacional and is easiest accessed via Las Américas (SDQ) followed by a short taxi, ride-hail or metro ride. Santo Domingo's transport network gives several options to reach La Julia from city terminals.
Las Américas International Airport (SDQ): SDQ is the main international gateway for Santo Domingo and is the most convenient airport for La Julia (a neighbourhood in Santo Domingo). Taxi or app-based ride fares from SDQ to La Julia typically run RD$1,200-2,000 (≈US$20-35) and take about 30-50 minutes depending on traffic.
Gregorio Luperón / Cibao / Punta Cana (POP / STI / PUJ): These airports serve other parts of the country, but Las Américas is the primary choice for reaching the Distrito Nacional quickly. Flights into STI or POP require longer ground transfers into Santo Domingo (2-4+ hours).
Train: There is no intercity passenger rail in the Dominican Republic; there is no train service into Santo Domingo’s neighbourhoods.
