La Désirade is a small, elongated island that forms part of the Guadeloupe archipelago in the Lesser Antilles of the Caribbean. It is noted for a largely low, dry landscape and coastal bays.

La Désirade lies to the east of Guadeloupe’s Grande-Terre island in the Caribbean Sea and is administered as part of the French region and department of Guadeloupe.
