The closest metro stop is Liceu on L3 (the green line) - the Liceu exit opens onto La Rambla adjacent to the market; Plaça de Catalunya (L1/L3) is a 5-10 minute walk north. Many city buses also run along La Rambla; driving is not recommended due to limited parking and pedestrianised areas.

- Arrive right at opening (early morning) to see the market at its freshest, sample produce from the stalls before peak tourist crowds appear, and get photos of the main aisles with fewer people.
