La Bombonera

La Bombonera is the popular name for Estadio Alberto J. Armando, the historic home stadium of Club Atlético Boca Juniors located in the La Boca district of Buenos Aires. It is internationally recognised for its compact, steep stands and intense matchday atmosphere.

The stadium’s defining feature is the steep terraced seating that rises close to the touchlines, creating a loud and enclosed environment on matchdays. On non-match days many visitors come for guided tours and to visit the club museum displaying trophies and memorabilia.
