Królikarnia is an 18th-century palace and park in the Mokotów district of Warsaw, now best known as the site of the Xawery Dunikowski Museum of Sculpture. It is one of Warsaw’s notable historic manor houses with landscaped grounds.
The main palace building, designed by Domenico Merlini and completed in the late 18th century, is the focal point and contains museum galleries dedicated to sculpture. The adjacent park features a sculpture garden with works on display outdoors and formal paths for walking; the setting is compact and often visited for short cultural stops. Temporary exhibitions and events are staged in the museum spaces, while the grounds are used for outdoor sculpture displays and public leisure.
Built in the late 1700s for a member of the magnate class, the estate later changed ownership and functions over the 19th and 20th centuries. Postwar restorations adapted the palace for museum use, and the site has been home to the Dunikowski sculpture collection since the mid-20th century.
Located in southern-central Warsaw within Mokotów, the palace and park are about 3.5 to 5 kilometres south of the Old Town and centre of Warsaw, and are reachable by public transport from the city centre.
