How to Get to Kouřim#
Kouřim is a historic small town in the Central Bohemian Region; Prague’s Václav Havel Airport (PRG) and Prague hlavní nádraží are the main gateways. From Prague or Kolín you usually continue by regional train/bus or taxi for the final short leg to Kouřim.
Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG): Prague’s airport is the main international gateway for central Bohemia. The Airport Express bus and regular public buses/trains connect to Praha hlavní nádraží (central station) in about 30-40 minutes; public transport tickets cost around CZK 32-100 depending on route, while the Airport Express costs slightly more.
Pardubice / Václav Havel alternatives: For regional arrivals, Pardubice Airport and Brno also serve parts of the Czech Republic-these require onward rail travel to reach Kouřim. From Prague hlavní nádraží take regional trains or buses to the Kouřim area (journeys typically 45-75 minutes by road).
