How to Get to Kluane Lake #
Kluane Lake is in southwestern Yukon; the nearest service town is Haines Junction on the Alaska Highway. The usual access is by road: drive west from Whitehorse on the Alaska Highway (Highway 1) to Haines Junction - roughly a 1.5-2 hour drive (about 160 km) - then follow local roads and signed turnoffs toward Kluane Lake and its day-use areas.
There is limited or no regular public bus service into the more remote lakeside areas, so private car or guided tours are the typical means of reaching viewpoints and trailheads.
