Klobenstein (Collalbo) sits on the Renon (Ritten) plateau above Bolzano. Arrive at Bolzano or a nearby regional airport and use Bolzano's rail station plus the Renon cable car/rail connections for the final climb to the village.
Bolzano Airport (BZO): Bolzano airport is the closest small airport but has limited scheduled services. From Bolzano city centre you can reach Klobenstein (Collalbo) by local bus or the Renon (Ritten) cable car/railway; short taxi rides are also available.
Verona Villafranca (VRN): For most international arrivals Verona (VRN) is a practical option. The airport runs shuttle buses (Aerobus) to Verona Porta Nuova station in about 15-20 minutes; from Verona you can take regional trains or a rental car to Bolzano (about 1.5-2 hours) then local transport up to Klobenstein.
