Mount Khustup is a prominent mountain in Syunik Province in southern Armenia, rising to an elevation of about 3,200 metres. It is a conspicuous peak in the Zangezur mountain system and a regional geographic landmark.
The mountain is popular for hiking and day trips from nearby towns. Trails lead to the summit and to viewpoints on its slopes that offer broad views of the surrounding valleys and the town of Kapan.
Khustup has cultural and historical significance for the local population; the slopes contain the grave of the Armenian military leader Garegin Nzhdeh. Over time the area has remained largely natural with seasonal pastoral use and recreational hiking.
The peak sits in southern Armenia within Syunik Province, close to the administrative and commercial center of Kapan and overlooking the valleys that lead toward the Aras River basin.
