How to Get to Khasab
Khasab is served by Khasab Airport (KHS) for domestic flights and is reachable overland from the UAE and Muscat. Most international visitors arrive via Muscat (MCT) or overland from the UAE (Ras al‑Khaimah/Dibba) and then transfer into Khasab by taxi or private transfer.
Khasab Airport (KHS): Khasab has a small domestic airport with regular flights from Muscat (operated by Oman Air). Flight time Muscat-Khasab is about 50-60 minutes; the airport is very close to town (10-15 minutes by taxi). Typical taxi into Khasab is short - roughly OMR 2-5 (approx.).
Muscat International (MCT): Muscat is the main international gateway to Oman. From Muscat you can connect to Khasab by a domestic flight (50-60 minutes) or travel overland through the UAE - the drive is long (commonly 6+ hours including border formalities). Train: There is no passenger rail service to Musandam/Khasab.
