Kenozyorsky National Park

Kenozyorsky (Kenozersky) National Park is a protected area in northern Russia that conserves a network of lakes, rivers, forests and traditional rural settlements. The park is known for its scenic waterways and for preserving wooden vernacular architecture, including village churches and farmsteads.

Visitors come for boating on the lakes, hiking through boreal forest and visiting remote villages to see historic wooden buildings and rural landscapes. The park combines natural values-lakes and taiga ecosystems-with cultural heritage preserved in small communities and wooden churches.
