Kazan Cathedral is a large neoclassical cathedral on Nevsky Prospekt in Saint Petersburg, Russia, dedicated to Our Lady of Kazan. It was constructed in the early 19th century and is a notable landmark on the citys principal avenue.
The cathedral is known for its columned portico and sweeping colonnade that faces Kazan Square. Inside are traditional Orthodox features, notable memorials and monuments, and the tomb of the Russian field marshal Mikhail Kutuzov.
