Katepwa Point Provincial Park is a small provincial park on the shore of Katepwa Lake in Saskatchewan’s Qu’Appelle Valley. The park offers a lakeside beach, picnic facilities and boat access aimed at day visitors and families.
Facilities are focused on water-based recreation such as swimming, boating and shore fishing, with informal shoreline trails and picnic areas close to the water. The park functions primarily as a day-use site rather than a large campground or backcountry area.
The park was established by the Saskatchewan provincial park system to protect a recreational point on Katepwa Lake and provide managed public access to the Qu’Appelle Valley lake system. It has remained a compact day-use facility serving nearby lake communities.
Geographically the park sits on Katepwa Lake within the Qu’Appelle Valley, adjacent to the village area of Katepwa in southern Saskatchewan, and is set among the low hills and lakes of the valley system.
