- Long‑distance marshrutka / Bus (~2,000-5,000 AMD) - Marshrutkas from Yerevan to Kapan are the standard route - journeys take several hours over mountain roads. They are inexpensive but can be tiring; bring water and be prepared for winding roads.

- Car rental / Private driver (From ~15,000 AMD/day) - Renting a car or hiring a driver is highly recommended for exploring Syunik - roads to smaller villages and attractions are more accessible with a vehicle and local knowledge. Fuel and driver costs add up but give freedom to stop and explore.
