Kananaskis Village

Kananaskis Village is a small resort community in Kananaskis Country in southwestern Alberta that functions as a gateway to mountain recreation. The settlement provides lodging, dining and trailhead access used by day visitors and people staying to explore nearby provincial and public lands.

The area is used year-round for outdoor activities including hiking and mountain biking in summer and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter; day-use facilities and trailheads are concentrated around the village.
