How to Get to Kali, Croatia
Kali is on Ugljan island and is normally reached via Zadar. Fly or bus to Zadar, then take a Jadrolinija ferry or local catamaran to Preko and a short local bus or taxi on to Kali.
Zadar (ZAD): Zadar is the closest major airport for reaching Kali on the island of Ugljan. From Zadar Airport you can take the airport shuttle or local bus into Zadar city/ferry port (about 15-25 minutes); taxis to the port cost roughly €15-€25. From Zadar harbour you catch a Jadrolinija ferry or local catamaran to Preko (Ugljan) - the crossing is typically 20-35 minutes and foot-passenger fares generally range from around €2-€6 depending on vessel type.
Split (SPU) / Rijeka (RJK): Split and Rijeka are farther alternatives with connecting ferries in summer; they are less convenient than Zadar for Kali but used by travelers combining other destinations.
Train: There is no direct rail service to Ugljan island. Mainland rail services terminate in Zadar for onward ferry connections.
Bus: Intercity buses (FlixBus and local carriers) connect Zagreb, Split and other Croatian cities to Zadar bus station (Autobusni kolodvor).
