How to Get to Kahlenberg #
Kahlenberg is a hill on Vienna’s northern edge (Döbling). From central Vienna take tram D or the U4 to Nußdorf/Heiligenstadt, then transfer to Wiener Linien bus 38A which runs up to the Kahlenberg summit; the final stop is a short walk (5-10 minutes) to viewpoints and the restaurant. By car it’s reachable via Kahlenbergstraße from Vienna centre - the drive is roughly 10-15 km depending on start point (around 20-30 minutes in normal traffic).

- Head to Kahlenberg at sunrise or weekday mornings for the clearest views over Vienna and far fewer day‑trippers; late afternoon also provides dramatic light for photos.
