Jukdo is a small islet off the east coast of Ulleungdo in North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. It is a compact rocky island notable for its proximity to Ulleungdo rather than for large-scale human settlement.
The island is low and rugged with cliffs and limited flat land, and it is mostly visited for coastal views and short sightseeing stops from boats. There are no major built facilities on the islet and it is a visual landmark in the local island group.
Jukdo sits only a short distance to the east of Ulleungdo and is part of South Korea’s eastern island chain in the Sea of Japan (East Sea). It is administered as part of the nearby county and reached by local boat services from Ulleungdo.
