Jebel Hafeet sits on the western edge of the Hajar Range near the city of Al Ain, in the eastern region of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, close to the border with Oman.

It’s a 30-40 minute drive from Al Ain city centre; taxis and rental cars are the usual options. Some tour operators include the summit as part of half‑day excursions from Abu Dhabi.
Tips for Visiting Jebel Hafeet #
- Drive the Jebel Hafeet mountain road at dawn to avoid buses and to catch the desert glow; the summit vistas are exceptional first thing.
- Allow time for the Green Mubazzarah park at the mountain's western base-hot springs and palm groves make for a quiet picnic.
- Be cautious of sudden wind and temperature changes at altitude; the summit can feel much cooler than Al Ain or Abu Dhabi plain.
