The Jama Mosque at Champaner is a large early 16th-century congregational mosque in the historical town of Champaner, in Gujarat. It forms a major monument within the Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park and is noted for its scale and carved stone facades.

Architectural highlights include a spacious prayer hall, a large central courtyard surrounded by arcades, and several minarets and towers that articulate the exterior. Stone carving and decorative details on arches and panels illustrate regional Sultanate-era craftsmanship.

The mosque was built as part of the urban developments of Champaner under Sultan Mahmud Begada and formed a focal point for religious and civic life in the city during the early 16th century. It survived in substantial form and now sits among other archaeological remains within the protected park.

Champaner is located inland in Gujarat, near Pavagadh Hill; the archaeological park is managed as a single site and is commonly visited from nearby cities such as Vadodara and Ahmedabad.

Champaner is about 50 km east of Vadodara (Baroda) and 80 km from Ahmedabad. Trains and buses link Vadodara and Ahmedabad; from Vadodara, take a bus or taxi toward Pavagadh/Champaner (road NH47 and then local roads). The archaeological park is a short walk from the Champaner village bus stand.

• Visit late afternoon to see the mosque's carved stone filigree soften in slanting light - the play of shadow brings the jali work alive.
• Combine the mosque visit with the surrounding Champaner graveyards and stepwells; the site is compact and most visitors miss the smaller pavilion chambers.
