Jabal al-Druze (also Jabal ad-Duruz) is a volcanic mountain range and highland region in southern Syria, largely within the as-Suwayda Governorate and associated with the Druze community. The range is noted for its basaltic terrain and dispersed agricultural villages.
The highland has long been a stronghold for the Druze community and developed as a distinct cultural and social region under Ottoman and later administrations. Its volcanic origin produced the rock and soils that shaped settlement and land use patterns.
The range is located in southern Syria, rising above the surrounding plains of the Hauran and positioned within as-Suwayda Governorate, with road links to regional towns and cities.
