Ivankiv Historical and Local History Museum

The Ivankiv Historical and Local History Museum was a municipal museum in Ivankiv, Kyiv Oblast, documenting local history and folk culture. It held ethnographic material, archives and works by regional artists, most notably pieces by Maria Prymachenko.

The displays included household objects, photographs and folk art that illustrated rural life in the Ivankiv area; the museum served as the primary local repository for cultural heritage. The building and its collections were widely reported damaged by fire during fighting in February 2022.

The museum had functioned as a local history centre and exhibition space prior to 2022, operated by municipal authorities. The destruction in 2022 was widely reported internationally and prompted cultural preservation responses.
