Isham Park is a neighborhood park in the Inwood section of northern Manhattan in New York City created from land donated by the Isham family in the early 20th century. The park covers an area of roughly several city blocks and preserves mature trees, lawns and winding paths.
Amenities include playgrounds, paved and unpaved walking routes and small open spaces used for passive recreation. Elements of the former Isham estate and garden plantings are incorporated into the park’s layout, which provides a green buffer within the dense urban neighborhood.
Isham Park lies in upper Manhattan, a short walk from the Hudson River and adjacent to other green spaces in the Inwood neighborhood, making it part of the northern Manhattan park network.

Isham Park is in the Inwood/Inwood Hill area at the northern tip of Manhattan. It is reachable by NYC Transit: take the A train to Inwood-207th Street (or the 1 train to the nearby northern Manhattan stops) and walk generally north/west a few blocks - typical walk times from the subway stations are about 5-15 minutes depending on which stop you use. Local buses and taxis also serve upper Manhattan for direct access to the park.
