Akure Airport (AKR): Akure is one of the nearest commercial airports serving Ekiti State and Ondo State. From Akure you will usually continue by road to Ise Ekiti by taxi or bus; travel time is several hours depending on route and connections and fares vary by operator.
Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS): Lagos is the major international gateway. From Lagos you can take a domestic flight to Akure or travel overland by long-distance bus to Ado Ekiti / Ise Ekiti; overland travel can take 4-6+ hours depending on traffic and route.
Train: Nigeria’s passenger rail network is limited and does not provide a direct service to Ise Ekiti; rail is not a primary option for this route.
Bus (Intercity) / Park-and-Ride): Intercity buses and roadside coaches connect Lagos, Ibadan, Akure and Ado Ekiti. From these larger towns you can find local buses (danfo/garage buses) or taxis to Ise Ekiti. Expect bus fares in the regional range and variable travel times depending on traffic and road condition.
