Interview Island

Interview Island is an island in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands of India, located off the northeastern part of the Andaman archipelago. The island is largely forested and sparsely populated or uninhabited, with limited facilities.

The island and surrounding waters are noted for coastal forest, mangroves and marine habitats and are included in local conservation designations. Access is by boat from larger Andaman islands and is subject to weather and local administration.

There is no widely recorded large-scale permanent settlement or urban infrastructure on the island; its significance is primarily ecological and as part of the Andaman island system. It lies within the administrative boundaries of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands territory.

• Use only authorized, experienced operators for any landing or wildlife viewing; facilities are minimal and visitors must follow sanctuary rules to avoid disturbing habitats.
