Île Foch Island

Île Foch is an uninhabited island in the Kerguelen archipelago in the southern Indian Ocean, part of the French Southern and Antarctic Lands. It lies among the group of subantarctic islands and is primarily of interest for scientific research and wildlife habitat.

There are no permanent civilian settlements on the island; access is restricted and usually limited to organized scientific expeditions or strict conservation visits. The island is one of several in the Kerguelen group that are governed from the French Southern and Antarctic Lands administration.
