Idrottsparken is a municipal sports stadium in Norrkoping, stergtland County in eastern Sweden, established in the early 20th century as the town’s principal football ground. It serves as the main home venue for the local professional club IFK Norrkoping and hosts league matches and occasional events.

The stadium contains a main grass pitch surrounded by spectator stands and auxiliary facilities used for club operations and matchday services. Matchdays and league fixtures form the primary draw for visitors; the ground is sized for domestic professional football rather than large international fixtures.

The site was developed as Norrkoping’s principal sports ground in the early 1900s and has been rebuilt and renovated several times to modernize seating, facilities and player amenities. Over its history it has remained the long-term home ground of IFK Norrkoping and other local sports events.

Idrottsparken sits close to Norrkoping city centre on the eastern side of the city, within short driving or public-transport distance of the main railway station and urban amenities.

Idrottsparken is in central Norrköping. Take a regional SJ train or regional bus from Stockholm to Norrköping Central Station; from the station it is an easy 10-15 minute walk (about 800-1,000 m) to the stadium along city streets by the Motala Ström river.

By car, drive via the E4 motorway from Stockholm (roughly 160 km) to Norrköping and follow signs for the city centre and parking near Idrottsparken.

• If you're attending a match, buy tickets in advance from the club or official vendors and arrive 30-60 minutes before kickoff to pass security without last‑minute queues and catch the pre-match atmosphere.
• Use Norrköping Central Station and a short walk or local bus to reach the stadium - public transport is usually quicker than parking on match days in the city.
• Check which stand your ticket assigns and enter through that gate; arriving early also gives you time to explore the riverside promenades and nearby cafés that many spectators overlook.
