Visitors come for short walks, swimming in spring pools and picnicking beneath the tree cover; the reserve is valued for its natural springs and the shade provided by mature trees. Management focuses on providing access for day recreation while protecting the spring source and surrounding vegetation.
The reserve lies in northern Israel within the country’s inland landscape, positioned among rural roads and agricultural areas rather than on a coastal plain.
